Takin' it to the Streets

The Story of Lil’ Bialetti

The Search...
Lil’ Bialetti was a small Tutto Creme
lost somewhere in Italy. He was a fine
machine, with lots of foam and a pleasant
disposition.
A nice American family was asked
to find Lil’ Bialette on their vacation trip
to Firenze and Siena. They were unsure
of where to look for the little fellow and
not speaking the language well... they
made some signs to help in the search
Lots of signs...
Department stores
were searched. “Lil’
Bialetti...Lil’ Bialetti!”
was the cry. Lil’ Bialetti...Lil’ Bialetti!!!!!!
No Lil’ Bialetti...
They tried
another shop...No
Lil’ Bialetti. While
the sales clerk was
pleasant she didn’t
know Lil’ Bialetti.
Nope.
Sorry.
Scuzze...
Even the
Policia were
no help. Now
they had to get
serious.
They plastered Reward signs everywhere.
They put so many up that
Italians designers started using the
poster for the spring fashions, grafitti
artists copped the work, and people
wore it on their backs. Still no Lil’
Bialetti...
People were puzzeled.
??
Restaurants displayed
the sign...
Graffitti and time
started to overtake the
message.
Trains
displayed the
message with
a covering of
paint.
Lil’ Bialetti...Lil’ Bialetti!!
Musicians composed contattas.
Even the
Gypsys tried
using it.
People became
complacent to the
search.
Haute Couture
stold the image.
Money eclipsed the
mission. Concentration
became difficult.
A . POGGI?
MIGNONE?
al MANIA?
The questions came fast and often.
Is Lil’ Bialetti in the Braschi Departmant store....

Is Lil’ Bialetti in the hardware store...

Is Lil’ Bialetti in the grocery store...
